When creating or editing individual and group profiles in the local reservation system, it is possible to create or assign a Web ID (login ID) for exclusive use on the web-based reservation system.
If you are building an Individual profile for a client, you can either ask them what they would like to use or you may assign an ID to them. It can be a combination of letters and numbers and a maximum length of 20 characters. EX: Hercules1, Cats29, Smith125, etc. Once the profile has been saved with the new Web ID (Shift + F4), you may click on Tools - update the web. The profile information will be uploaded to the web reservation system. The client may then use this ID, or Alias when the place online reservations and the system will recognize the client and all of their default reservation and billing preferences.
If you are building a Group Profile for a corporate account, the above information applies as well. In addition, you will note that adjacent to the Alias field, is another field which is defaulted to "No export." This allows you to create the group profile in the local system but prohibit it from being uploaded to the web system. By changing the "No export" to "Export," you can save the profile and then click Tools - Update the web and upload the group profile to the web reservation system.
