Subject: Exadigm Configuration for WiFi + CDMA Combo Modems

Summary: This document outlines the step by step procedure for configuring the Exadigm hand-held Mobile Ticketing device, for communication through both WiFi and CDMA connections.

 Modem Activation:

 From Main Menu Select

· # 9 ADMIN

· # 2 Setup enter password 1234

· # 1 System> # 7 Power Mgmt> # 4 Device On/Off

· # 1 USB On> No> # 2 RF On> Yes

· # 3 Communication

· # 3 CDMA

· Scroll down to A (Data Activation)

· Press the Enter Key Twice

 Requirements:

- Core: 0611011.20.000

- OS: 0691401785 (The OS is current on all devices)

- Windows Hyper Terminal

- Modem: CDMA + WiFi (MWJ3540.000)

- Router: Linksys WRT54G or WAAV X2

 Procedure:

1. Manually edit App.conf file with Merchant information.

2. Create A New Hudson Bind with the Customer Files.

3. Load Hudson Application

4. Open Windows Hyper Terminal, when the device starts up

select any key to get into the hermit command line. Once you

are at the hermit command line type in FFS_Erase and select

the enter key. Once that finishes type in the word linux and select

the enter key, now follow the steps on the device screen.

5. # 4 Admin Tools> # 4 Change Settings> # 1 Set Terminal ID

6. # 4 Admin Tools> # 4 Change Settings> # 4 Set Res #

7. # 4 Admin Tools> # 4 Change Settings> # 5 Set Network Mode> CDMA

8. # 4 Admin Tools> # 4 Change Settings> # 6 Set Log Level to 31

9. # 4 Admin Tools> # 4 Change Settings> Set Batch Network Mode> WiFi

10.  Manually configure Exadigm device settings

11.  # 4 Admin Tools> # 3 Exadigm Admin> # 2 Setup> # 3 Communication

12.  # 3 CDMA> CDMA Mode> WS

13.  # 1 System> Date & Time

14.  # 1 System> # 7 Power Mgmt> # 4 Device On/Off

15.  # 1 USB On> Yes> # 2 RF On> Yes

16. Reboot Device

17. Test both CDMA and WiFi connections

18. Test all transaction types cash and credit card

19. Test Driver remote login and reservation upload

20.Test FTP upload and download with HWebTerminalhost.
